I M Shakti Udaan Scheme 2023-24 – Notification, Free Sanitary Napkins, Apply Form Online

Women and Child Development Minister Mamta Bhupesh held a meeting with the officials at the Secretariat regarding I M Shakti Udaan Scheme preparations and gave guidelines and said that the state government is committed to fulfill the concept of healthy and clean women along with the resolve of a healthy Rajasthan. To celebrate the completion of three (3) years of the state government, the state government is going to launch the IM Shakti Udan scheme, in which about 1 crore women will be benefited and along with this, Jagriti Back to Work Scheme will also be launched to provide job opportunities to the women who have left their jobs due to any reason.

I M Shakti Udaan Scheme 2023-24 Details – Eligibility, Required Documents, Benefits, Objectives, Components

I Am Shakti Udaan Scheme Eligibility:

• Beneficiary to be a permanent resident of Rajasthan.
• Only women can apply in this scheme.
• Benefits will get according to the parameters set by the government.

I M Shakti Udaan Scheme Objectives:

1. Encouraging the use of sanitary napkins.
2. Campaign for awareness related to menstruation.
3. Providing free sanitary napkins to women and adolescent girls.
4. Priority, credit and scheme for purchase and distribution of sanitary napkins to S.H.G.
5. Incentives to women S.H.G. social institutions and N.G.O for doing excellent work in Menstrual Hygiene Management.

Components of the I M Shakti Udaan Scheme:

1. To sensitize girl child and women to manage menstruation safely and with dignity by using Sanitary napkin.
2. Providing sanitary napkins.

Availability or Distribution of Sanitary Napkin:

1. Sanitary napkins will be distributed in a phased manner.
2. In the first phase, Sanitary napkins will be distributed in government schools and selected Anganwadi centers.
3. In the upcoming phase, Sanitary napkins will be distributed on other educational institutions and at all Anganwadi centers.

In the first phase of I Am Shakti Udan Yojana, 28 lakh adolescent girls and women of the state will be benefited and in this sequence, in 282 blocks in rural areas, the government has decided to distribute 12 sanitary napkins free of cost per month to every girl child and female beneficiary between the age of 10 to 45 years at 5 identified Anganwadi centers in each block. According to IM Shakti Udan Yojana, free sanitary napkins will be distributed to women and adolescent girls keeping in mind their health and hygiene, so that every woman of the state can get a new flight and a healthy and strong Rajasthan can be made.
