Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana (PMMY) is a scheme launched by the Prime Minister India on April 8, 2015 for providing loans up to 10 lakh to the non-corporate, non-farm small and micro enterprises. These loans are categorized as MUDRA loans under PMMY which are given by Commercial Banks, RRBs, Small Finance Banks, MFIs and NBFCs. The banks are provides finance to micro enterprises engaged in the business of manufacturing, trading and service sector in rural, urban and metropolitan areas under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana under Mudra Bank, it has three categories – Shishu, Kishore and Tarun. These three categories will help the beneficiaries in growth and development of business of manufacturing, trading and service sector in rural, urban and metropolitan.

How To Apply:

  1. Open and visit the official PMMY website at udyamimitra.in.
  2. Scroll down to the home page and click at Apply Now option link under Mudra loans tab.
  3. Clicking on the link, PM Mudra Yojana online registration form 2022 will appear.
  4. Fill the form with correct details and complete the registration process.
  5. After registration fill PM Mudra Loan Yojana online application form.
  6. Fill the form and click at the Submit button.

Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) is a special scheme by central govt. of India through MUDRA. MUDRA is a subsidiary of SIDBI wich supports institution to extend loans to the non-corporate non-farm sector income generating activities of micro and small entities. Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana is subject to those enterprises with credit needs below Rs. 10 lakhs. The main objective behind this scheme is creating an ecosystem of growth for micro enterprises sector and initiative to fund the small business in India.

Basic Eligibility:

  1. The business should be either one of the following:
  2. Small manufacturing enterprise.
  3. Shopkeepers.
  4. Fruit and Vegetable vendors.
  5. Artisans.
  6. Activities allied to agriculture, pisciculture, bee keeping, poultry, livestock, rearing, grading, sorting, aggregation agro industries, diary, fishery, agriclinics and agribusiness centres, food and agro-processing, etc. (excluding crop loans, land improvement such as canal, irrigation and wells).

On the basis of quantum of loan amount, Mudra loans are classified into three categories, which are as follows:

  1. Infant: Rs. Loan amount up to 50,000 is classified under this category.
  2. Kishore: Rs. 50,000 and above Rs. Loan amount up to 5.00 lakhs is classified under this cadre.
  3. Tarun: Rs. 5.00 lakhs and above Rs. Loan amount up to 10.00 lakhs is classified under this cadre.
  4. The interest rate applicable on these units will be between MCLR + 0.40% to MCLR + 1.65%.
